IMAGING (in those days we called it drawing or painting) or creating and playing with existing images; I won Ocean Air Elementary School's third prize (beating out the 7th graders; blowing nails and brushing on ample bosom) in 1959 for my entry in the "Litter Bug Poster Contest" some (garbled-ty) years ago. Vanan's Gift

This watercolor (70's) given to my younger sister Vanan, with her name in Russian; because she majored in Russian, made several trips there and brought me a painted wood carved box. Vanan is currently speaking, instructing, motivating and providing consulting services in computer technologies, health/wellness;
and diverse fields.

My mother had a huge collection of owls which began when she put decals on the double-goosenecked reading lamp over their bed; Rebe felt that was a good enough reason to sit on an owl toilet seat, shake owls for salt & pepper and co-exist with whatever owls her fans would bring her. This ink drawing, was completed for the same Christmas as my sister Vanan's. It hung framed in her living room until she passed in 1987.
